The Kruse Axioms

Core principles of quantum biology as articulated by Dr. Jack Kruse — neurosurgeon, biohacker, and quantum biology evangelist.

The Eight Pillars

1. ☀️💧🧲 Light-Water-Magnetism

“Light, water, and magnetism are the three things that drive life on Earth. Everything else is downstream.”

ElementRole
LightInformation carrier, electron liberator
WaterQuantum battery, energy storage
MagnetismOrganizing field, electron flow director

Implication: Optimize all three before anything else. Supplements, diet, and exercise are secondary.

2. ⚡ The Photoelectric Effect

“All biology runs on the photoelectric effect. Your cells are semiconductors.”

Key Points:

  • Light striking surfaces liberates electrons
  • This is how mitochondria harvest energy
  • Cells are not chemical machines—they are electrical/quantum devices
  • The skin is a solar panel

Einstein’s Discovery → Kruse’s Application: Einstein won the Nobel Prize for the photoelectric effect. Kruse applies it to biology.

3. ⏰ Circadian Rhythm Is King

“Timing is more important than quantity. Morning light is medicine, evening light is poison.”

Protocol:

TimeActionWhy
SunriseUV-A exposure on retina/skinSets master clock
DayMaximum outdoor lightBuilds melatonin precursors
SunsetWatch itSignals circadian transition
After darkBlock all blue lightProtects melatonin

The Clock Hierarchy:

  1. Central clock (SCN in brain) — set by light
  2. Peripheral clocks (liver, gut, etc.) — follow central
  3. Mitochondrial clocks — follow peripheral

4. 🔋 Mitochondrial Theory of Disease

“All chronic disease is a mitochondrial disease. Heteroplasmy is the key metric.”

Heteroplasmy = percentage of damaged mitochondrial DNA

LevelStatus
< 20%Optimal health
20-40%Subclinical, aging
40-60%Chronic disease manifests
> 60%Serious pathology

What Increases Heteroplasmy:

  • Blue light exposure (especially at night)
  • nnEMF (WiFi, 5G, etc.)
  • Poor sleep
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Aging

What Decreases Heteroplasmy:

  • Sunlight (especially AM)
  • Cold thermogenesis
  • Fasting/autophagy
  • Grounding

5. 💧 Water Structure Matters

“Hydration is not about volume—it’s about structure. EZ water is the battery of the cell.”

Gerald Pollack’s EZ Water:

  • Fourth phase of water (H₃O₂)
  • Negatively charged
  • Stores energy from infrared light
  • Lines all hydrophilic surfaces in cells

Deuterium:

  • Heavy hydrogen (²H) slows ATP production
  • High deuterium = mitochondrial brake
  • Source: processed foods, certain waters
  • Solution: DDW (deuterium-depleted water), seafood

6. 📡 nnEMF Toxicity

“Non-native EMF is the cigarette of our generation. WiFi is not benign.”

nnEMF = non-native electromagnetic fields

SourceFrequencyConcern
WiFi2.4-5 GHzCalcium channel disruption
5G28-39 GHzSkin/cornea effects
Blue light450-495nmRetinal damage, circadian disruption
Power lines60 HzChronic exposure effects

Protocol:

  • Hardwire internet when possible
  • Airplane mode at night
  • No smart devices in bedroom
  • Blue blockers after sunset

7. 🐟 DHA Is Essential

“DHA is the quantum antenna in your cell membranes. It’s why seafood cultures have superior brain function.”

DHA = Docosahexaenoic acid (omega-3)

Properties:

  • Highest electron density of any fatty acid
  • Concentrated in brain, retina, mitochondria
  • Cannot be synthesized efficiently—must eat it
  • 6 double bonds = quantum antenna

The Epi-Paleo Rx:

  • Prioritize seafood over land animals
  • Oysters, salmon, sardines, mackerel
  • Cold water fish > warm water fish
  • Wild > farmed

8. ❄️ Cold Thermogenesis

“Cold kills sick mitochondria. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger—if you recover.”

Mechanisms:

  • Activates brown adipose tissue (BAT)
  • Triggers mitophagy (clearing damaged mitochondria)
  • Increases mitochondrial biogenesis
  • Improves leptin sensitivity

Protocol (Progressive):

  1. Face dunks in cold water (start here)
  2. Cold showers (30 sec → 5 min)
  3. Cold baths (50-60°F)
  4. Ice baths (40°F or below)
  5. Cold ocean/lake immersion

Adaptation:

  • Takes 4-6 weeks to become cold-adapted
  • Don’t rush—let body adapt
  • Never heat up artificially after

The Unified Theory

Why Modern Humans Are Sick

ANCESTRAL ENVIRONMENT MODERN ENVIRONMENT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Full-spectrum sunlight → Indoor artificial light
Spring water → Processed/deuterium-high water
Earth's magnetic field → nnEMF soup
Seafood diet → Grain/seed oil diet
Cold exposure → Climate-controlled comfort
Grounding (barefoot) → Rubber-soled shoes
Circadian alignment → 24/7 blue light

Result: Mitochondrial dysfunction → all chronic disease

The Prescription

Daily Non-Negotiables

  • Sunrise: Eyes and skin exposed to first light
  • Ground: Barefoot on earth 20+ minutes
  • Cold: Some form of cold exposure
  • Block: No blue light after sunset
  • Sleep: In complete darkness, low EMF
  • Eat: Seafood-focused, seasonal, local

Environment Audit

  • Minimize indoor time
  • Reduce WiFi/Bluetooth exposure
  • Remove smart devices from bedroom
  • Use incandescent/candle light at night
  • Consider magnetico sleep pad
